Why We Built This Site
Colorado makes several types of justice information available, yet each custodian answers a different question. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office keeps its reports and booking material. District and County Court clerks hold filed charges, docket events, dispositions, and sentence orders. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation maintains fingerprint-supported statewide history, while corrections and registry records use separate state systems. We organize the verified contacts, request steps, fees, and official search routes for those offices.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: verified routes to the sheriff, Arapahoe courts, and Colorado record systems
- Official check steps: how CBI name checks and fingerprint-based personal reviews differ
- Record guides: how to search and read an Arapahoe County criminal court case file
- Record relief: where Colorado adult sealing and juvenile expungement forms are filed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no affiliation to a Colorado court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing custodian, such as the sheriff, the court clerk, or the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, can provide an official criminal record.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own services, control their prices, and determine what their results contain. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee for us. That support helps fund the resource, but it does not give us control over the provider or its data.
